Beginner help - diamond engagement ring

If Karl says its fails, eliminate it. He's a pro and veteran with diamonds. I know its frustrating, but I'd keep looking.

:cry2: it's just taking so long to find something with this jeweller I'm going to run out of time - I was really hoping this was the one for me!

Look through the stones I posted. If you are short of time, look at WF. They have the stones in their hands (in house diamonds anyway) and can give you realistic and reliable delivery/pickup dates. I'd only go with JA if you have time on your side.

I know the WF may be a bit smaller than you wanted, but they have a fantastic upgrade policy.

I love a good local jeweller, but if you have a short timeline now, you need someone with the diamond already in their hands.

I agree with @rockysalamander. The first Whiteflash diamond she listed earlier would be my choice: https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3963060.htm
This is a beautiful diamond that also gives you the full upgrade option that you won't ever get with James Allen or with most local jewelers. Being an Expert Selection, it is a near super ideal diamond that looks spectacular. I have a .82 with the exact same spread as this one and it's a nice size--plenty of presence and definitely does not look "small".
