I am going to have to say that either that photography isn't accurately showing color, or one of those stones is misgraded. They both look too white. So I would not let that photo make your decision other than it may be one is low H and the other high I and that is why they appear to be the same. But they still should be showing a little tint.

I'm totally guessing, but I believe she bought the 2 ct ACA b/c it is listed as "sold". Her old 1.9 ct is on reserve so I'm thinking someone else snatched it up!

You got it I'm assuming someone had dibs on the 1.968 b/c as soon as I switched it, the listing went to "reserved" very quickly!

They will send pics later this afternoon. I am not going to be able to open it though...hubby is out of town till late Thursday, so will probably let him open it on Friday and then we are thinking of going up to Pittock Mansion in Portland, where he proposed, so he can re-propose...I think I'll say yes!

I think so...I wrote and asked for a profile shot, because they sent three of it lying down (and the arrows shot, of course), but no profile pic, so I can't see how the diamond is set in, which is disappointing...

Here's the thing...I have done all the research and ordered up the ring of my dreams, and I feel like my hubby should get "something" fun out of it, you know? So far, he's only been the money guy! (and the sounding board!) LOL! I'm going to let him open it by himself and present it to me when he is ready...well, at least when he's ready on SATURDAY!
I know I'm lucky to have a romantic husband and it will be fun to let him have this! I get to wear it forever

Just trying to make a decision on a setting. I originally was going to have the diamond shipped loose so I could take some more time to figure out what setting I want. But DH wants me to stop over thinking everything and do a classic solitaire (like my original ER he picked), at least for now so I can wear it! I think I will go that route (for now) and try to pair with some fun stacking bands. I've been goggling over some from this thread:

That is pretty much what I am doing. It is hard to go wrong with a classic solitaire and WF has some very nice choices. It is fun to have a variety of bands, too!

Me too! that's why I went with the solitaire...I've already picked up one steal on eBay...the Tiffany & Co. two-tone platinum & 18K yellow with milgrain 3mm, that should be here soon! I want a thin diamond eternity and...and...and...hehe!
