Well, kinda after. Not completely done-we're shingling this weekend and the back patio isn't completely done, but still, wanted to share anyway!

So these are 2 I snagged off the assessor's website that show the house right before we bought it in 2001.

Looks very nice and cozy, and I'll bet those huge shade trees are magnificent in the summer.

Now it looks like this!

That looks FANTASTIC packrat! Excellent job!!

What an amazing difference, Packrat! It looks wonderful!

You must have put so much hard work into caring for your home, you should be so proud! I love it.

Your neighbors must LOVE you!

tub bed in front. don''t look at the weeds in the tub.

front patio. it was just a slab of terribly cracked concrete but jd busted it all out and put in the block to match the path we did for the mailman a few years ago, and then he added a little extra to the side

front patio again. london peeking out the door. also shows the part of the driveway we expanded last month.

That''s it for the front, now here''s one of the only pictures I can find of the back when we bought it. This is looking out at an angle from the back patio.

Thank you for posting your pictures. It looks like you have put in so much hard work and care and it really has paid off. Great job.

from the back garage looking to the east corner of the house. That big pile of bricks is part of the back patio that''s not done.

Packie, it looks awesome! You''ve put in so much hard work and it''s totally paid off. How long have you been working on it?

Next to the fence there, those weeds are all going to be brick..3 across out from the patio back to the gate to get out of the backyard. If you can see in the bricking that''s already done, next to the fence is 2 brick planters of sweet pea vines. We''ll put in 2 more of those on the walkway that''s going in. And then in between all the planters will be big pots w/hostas in them.

Oh my gosh!!! It looks amazing, packrat!

I love all the pavers - I think those are just such a nice touch. Now you gotta spend some time sitting out in some lawn chairs enjoying all the beauty of your hard labor!

That is an amazing transformation packy!! You two have clearly put blood, sweat, and tears into your landscaping and wow, did it pay off!

back garage looking down the patio. i wish i had a pic of the back of the house itself from before. it was just a slab of concrete for patio-we expanded it almost twice the size and added the roof/railings.

The hosta bed w/the stump in it, we cut down the tree when I was pg w/Trapper.

Lots of work! Hope you enjoyed the pictures! We''re awfully proud so I had to share!
