Sorry, that''s all I''ve got for today! I caught a little bit of sunlight this evening.

Actually, I have few more that I haven''t processed yet, an itty sapph with a nice color shift...

Oh phooey, that red garnet looks so sleepy! It''s really beautiful in person. I do have a lot of blue/green/purple; it''s my sweet spot. I''m moving into reds, but I don''t know if I''ll ever get far into pinks or oranges unless they''re gifts for others.

Sadly, these are all still nekkid stones, I''ve tried to set a few of them and run into problems from financing to artistic differences. I''ve also graduated, moved, and changed jobs in the last few months, so my apologies for not keeping up with the happenings over this way!

I''ve been neglecting the poor stones lately- I haven''t even unpacked my stone holders! When we get a little more sun I''ll do a proper shoot for the new (to me) stones; the red garnet, the blue sapphire shifter, the citrine, and the blue topaz and zircon. The rest I think y''all have seen. Many thanks to Liz and Mimi for the adoptions...

The red stone is a red garnet from Barry, about 6mm, and the big blue oval is around a 1.75ct swiss blue topaz.

As you can guess, these came from me.

That one is a citrine oro verde from Rick at ACS. It''s a very large stone and a lot of fun to play with! He has more, I chose this one because it''s a true opposed-bar cut, some of the others have a different facet pattern on the pavilion.

Thanks for the compliments, I''ll try to take a more pictures, but I''m not sure about the lighting in my new place. Only one way to find out!

Chrono- I have had plans off and on for some of them. The montana sapphs will be earrings, I just need the right jeweler. The spinel asscher I have quotes on settings for from all over and I think will soon be in a temp setting for the time being. The garnet I''m thinking of having set for my MIL, but I don''t know how and the seafoam-y tourmaline will shortly be making its way to Sally for yet another lotus. All plans, no actions until my bank account recovers from having to buy furniture!
