Well, maybe it would be more accurate to call it a square emerald.

Has anyone purchased from Angara? I think this gem is lovely... but too small at .70 ct (5x5 mm) - especially considering the cut. It would be just magnificent in a larger size.

It looks gorgeous in it''s little video clip:

The stone looks so much lighter in the video. Still, it''s a lovely stone (but a wee too small). I think it''ll look great in a diamond melee halo.

I love it lighter!

It's so inexpensive...

I'm sitting here imagining how it would look with a pink sapph baguette halo. What nightmare it would be to match the color!

This sort of arrangement:

That would be a poor choice for the pink sapphire. Trying to match the baguettes (colour and sizewise) will be cost prohibitive and difficult. I was thinking some tiny round white diamonds all around it.

Like I said - a nightmare, I''m sure! What about a diamond halo?

Are you seeing a bold or a fine halo? I have mixed feelings about rounds mixed with Asschers, but these Emily J''s - which I would consider "bold" - are interesting:

Ohmygosh, Chrono.... that''s almost like lace! How pretty and feminine... and not at all what I''d imagined.

I''m truly just designing in my head - fantasizing. I really think .70 is too small. It''s a $225 stone. My photoshop mock shows it as 1.24 ct. So..... if I ever find a good sized, beautiful square emerald cut light pink sapphire, I think I have some smokin'' concepts here.

Thanks!
