Ha ha, thanks for clarifying Grace and Erica! I know, it was a pretty random question

Yes, after seeing a number of Uppy''s pieces consigned with you, I thought maybe she was getting to have fun and hang out with the sparklies too, he he..I agree Uppy, that would be a dream!

Grace - I totally get it. If I were lucky enough to be in your position, *everything* would be ordered in my size

E&G, this ring (actually, all your custom designs so far) are simply gorgeous...
I think I know who may need to be setting my new 1.75ct OEC...

It''s currently on it''s way to me.
I''m very excited, but want to verify first as it''s an ebay deal...actually, I should say steal

1.75ct, J VS1.

I promise to start a thread as soon as everything is good!

ilovethiswebsite, thanks for posting that ring! It''s so stunning. Especially the profile view of the setting. Oh if this setting had been available a year ago! I LOVE those diamonds around the basket!

I had been stalking that ring! ETA, not that I could afford it anytime soon... especially after my post PS shopping.

Ooooh exciting AJ! My new 1.66ct RB is a J VS1 too

Would it be a major PITA to return it from AU? Or is it being appraised in US first?

Hey DD!
aww, I feel bad..like I should start my own thread and not hijack this one!
But I don''t really want to until I confirm is all..

It already comes with what seems to be a thorough and professional appraisal from an LA service. I spoke to the GIA gemologist over the phone about the ring, and even though it was appraised in Jan he remembered it well. He spoke very highly of the ring, and answered all my questions about the diamond thoroughly.
Basically when it gets here, I will just be having my jeweller / appraiser take it out of the setting to be sure of no flaws hiding under the prongs, and compare her opinion to the appraisal.

If I do want to return it, it''s not a big deal.

But I don''t think I will want to

It is currently set in a men''s ring with 1.25cts of F VS1 baguettes.
