Need some help. I've read through a bunch of posts on this forum and everyone is always super informative. I'm a total rookie looking for an oval for my soon to be fiance (hopefully).
What does everyone think?

OPTION 1
Sarin
Width - 6.05mm
Length - 8.25mm
Depth - 63.6%
Pav Depth - 43.1%
Pav Angle - 52.4
Crown Height - 15.5%
Crown Angle - 37.3
Table Size - 75.6%
Girdle Thickness - 2.07% - 6.79%
Table Off Center - .6%
Culet Off Center - .2%

Option 2
Width - 6.13mm
Length - 8.09mm
Depth - 66.1%
Pav Depth - 45.0%
Pav Angle - 56.8
Crown Height - 14.4%
Crown Angle - 36.2
Table Size - 75.6%
Girdle Thickness - 3.64% - 6.17%
Table Off Center - .3%
Culet Off Center - 1.7%

I like option 1 because I like the egg shape better.

LOL I was going to say I Like option 2 because I like the slightly pointed ends better.

I know next to nothing about ovals, but I prefer the look of option #2. By far.

I prefer option 1.

I love option 2. I think the proportions - the nice fat middle and the more tapered, defined ends - are beautiful.

#1 has too big/ pronounced a bow tie. Table is also too big.
#2's table is too big. What's the crown height on it? If it's high enough it might be okay.

Of the two I'd take the second, but honestly, I'd call up Good Old Gold and keep looking.

ETA: http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/E-VVS1-Ideal-Cut-Oval-Diamond-1203155.asp This one has some potential but I can't tell a thing about the bow tie from the pic... need an ASET or at least an IS. I would still recommend giving GOG a call.

Ditto. Of the two I much prefer the second. #1 has a big bow tie. I bought my oval from GOG...

I vote for the second one.

Both are beautiful and as there is no right answer between them - as you see from the replies so far its 50:50 as its all to do with what shape you like. Each oval is unique in shape. I am 50:50 in that I like no 1 as it looks larger and I like number 2 as its E and I love its shape too.
As an oval fan, either one would make me happy!

Thanks for all the advice. I''m going with Option #2. Turns out the table dimensions from the Sarin were incorrect because it wasn''t calibrated correctly.

I like the shape of #2 also. (sorry, dont know anything about the numbers - just know what I like
