Like most of you, I love Barry''s faceted stones. Therefore, I wasn''t at all suprised how much I love his cabs!!

I''m loving cabs also - I just love the smoothness of them, and especially when you see them used to such perfection by craftsmen like James Meyer.

I recently bought one, from the dreaded ebay place (I had learned my lesson - then succumbed again!!) and was so hopeful of it.

It came, looked glowy - looked included (it was) - but felt it could do with a bit of a spruce up - so packed it up and off she went across the water to a very lovely man, who cuts stones now and then - a lot now and then!

oh dear...

My cab...she was in a sorry state!

I quote - ''putting it to the wheel, would surely be the kiss of death''!

She will wing her way back, and the silver lining is, the seller has agreed a refund!

Moral? Buy where you know you will get the real deals!

These 2 are, and very pretty - look forward to seeing how you get them set.

Mochi,
Pretty looking cabochons. I’m so happy to be seeing cabochons regularly in CS. I think they have a different feel from the regular faceted stones and should be appreciated as such.
