Barry Mint Garnet

Took some photos of my new Barry mint, identical twin to one that Jstar is getting soon. It is bright and minty and SPARKLY.

It is 5.9mm, .97 ct

Rose gold?

There is definitely a hint of blue.
No plans yet....and it likely won't be set for awhile! Before it in line are the Barry rubellite and blue spinel, lol.

It will definitely go into rose gold eventually...but it probably won't be set for awhile unless I just get hit in the head wiith the perfect setting!

I'm actually itching to get my malaya garnet and rubellite set first.

Since it's a light toned stone, I would do a rose gold halo. I think it would have the best effect, and show off the faceting pattern really well.
