Litnon has a very pretty bicolor sunstone at $216 for 2.71 carats. If it were mine I think I'd set it in rose gold, maybe in a bezel. Sadly, my gem fund is all tapped out for a bit, but it's definitely pretty to look at!

Can’t afford a cornflower blue sapphire so I got this cute little 5mm kyanite and set it in a cz halo. Total cost was about $40. It will have to do as a placeholder until I save more money!

It is concave cut, and I really don't think she knew much about it. She did call it a garnet, but that's all she said. I messaged her yesterday to see if she would tell me where she got it and how old it is but she hasn't responded yet. I've been having a hard time finding comps on the internet. I did find one site where the ROUGH in similar color sells for about $14 a carat(which is what I paid for the ring with added shipping). It measures 14.2 x 10 x 6ishmm, so it very well may be even bigger than 5ct. I'm thinking now it deserves to be reset in rose gold!

If any Asscher lovers are searching for a Morganite, Multicolour recently listed this 2.18 ct stone for $196.20. It should be a pretty stone if the color is mostly like the outer edges. I think the camera might be playing tricks with the overall color due to all of angles of the asscher cut... It's so hard to tell from just one photo, but it might be worth taking a chance on it.
