What shape are the diamonds?

they are both oval/brilliant.....

I see the second has a pavillion angle listed.

How do they measure it? Doesn't the angle vary due to the shape of the oval?

Just curious - sorry for hijacking the thread.

No, don't have the measurements. Bought at a reputable jeweler and have had friends buy there. Looked at with sister and both agreed it looked fine.

The second is quite a bit deeper. Maybe that's why the pavillion angle is 45 degrees.

I find the strong blue fluor interesting. Is it noticeable in daylight?

Yes, the 'strong blue' concerned me also. But we looked at the diamond under various lights at the store and then took it outside and didn't notice anything. My greatest fear was that peoople would notice gf's ring and see it glowing blue and think, 'boy what a cheapskate'....

I'd think Boy, is that boy smart!

I can not speak for that particular stones; but, I love blue fluor. I would not buy a stone without it.

What effect does florescence have on a diamond?????? Most of all, how does it effect its appearance to the naked eye.
