Thanks, Dreamer.
Do you know if most people provide their own sidestones or let Leon source them?
Btw, I really love your ''Dream'' eternity band! I think you were onto something with that design.
Yes, leon is a whole different style of his own. As I am sure you know, some people have had poor experiences with him... just good to know going in! I would let him pick the sides and let him do his thing and trust it will be great, rather than get the sides myself. From what I have seen, he ofen will get pics of a couple options for you so you still get some choice.Date: 2/6/2010 9:41:30 PM

I like the BGD settings (and the prices!), but that Leon ''Asprey'' shank and the prongs are so fluid and beautiful.
I''m not sure how to describe this properly...but the prongs on pear side stones in the Leon setting do not meet the shank. For me, the less metal, the better!
I think the answer to this is, "Not at all"Date: 2/6/2010 10:11:54 PM

Yes, I agree with ya, Dreamer. My concern would be his preference for setting stones low. I love the look of low-set stones but since my ACA is 1.04 ct, I''d be
concerned that an ultra-low setting would make my stone appear too small and squatty. I''m not sure how much Leon compromises on his setting preferences.
I currently have the Legato head, incorporated into a knife-edge shank, and the stone is just too low for me.
I dunno. I had the legato sleek line and had the head changed out to the truth head by BGD when I upgraded... the two diamonds were the same size, but different colors. The Truth head was higher, maybe a mm. And the diamond looked bigger. So I have no idea why Leon thinks lower looks bogger. I personally like a lower setting for comfort and wearability. I don''t like feeling my ring catch on things when I dig in my pocket etc. BUT for pure ol'' looks bigger, I think higher is the way to go. And even if Leon set it "high" I am guess it would not truly be objectively high, judt higher than his norm.Date: 2/7/2010 12:57:32 PM

Dreamer...he thinks it makes the stone look bigger? What are your thoughts on this? Big stones look gorgeous with ultra-low profiles, but what about
1 ct and under...smaller or bigger, in your opinion?
