I was a little intimidated at first about going in Tiffany''s. The first time, I only looked in the cases and did not ask to try anything on. The second time, I had another PS''er with me, so I had more nerve to ask. And the salesperson was very nice and let me try on rings. Once I really thought about it, I doubt the average salesclerk in a jewelry store makes as much as I do, so I decided I didn''t need to worry about what they think. I do not dress up to go jewelry shopping to impress a salesperson or anyone else. I can honestly say that I got good service everywhere I looked at settings. But there was a definite difference in those who were very sales oriented (as in pushing what was expensive) and those who took the time to show me differences in quality. At least now I know who I''d trust to buy from in the future for other jewelry besides diamonds.
