In most cases no. If you are comparing the same quality diamonds the baguettes will be more. They simply require more time to match than rounds.
Rounds once separated by color, clarity, and cut can be run through a diamond sieve and will be separated by size in minutes (or an hour). I'm talking about hundreds of carat separated by size! To do the same quantity of baguettes will require days or weeks. You must measure each and every stone manually. If they are tapered baguettes then a third measurement also has to be done. Very time consuming process.
