My engagement ring is a 1.5 ct round with two tapered baguettes. I am looking for a new band (I have always had the matching band that cannot be worn alone). I have tried a 5-7 stone with 10-15 point diamonds. I think that style just isn't for me. I think I prefer to have baguettes in the band and maybe alternating round/baguettes. Maybe channel set because I do like to see some metal. My fingers are on the longer side and a 7.5, so I prefer something around 2.5 - 3mm wide. And almost everything baguette I see is very thin. Like something like this? But it isn't even 2mm wide.

My budget is $2000 max. And I would love something from somewhere that has a decent return policy just in case I get it and don't love it or I would totally buy second hand. But I am too scared. I am not a good visualizer, so I need to see things in person. So I am open to any and all suggestions. Thank you!
 
Have you looked on Etsy at all? I've been looking for a baguette band to go with a similar ring and there are a few there, preloved/vintage though.

A little, yes. And I am fine with pre loved. I think I just haven't found "the one" yet.
 
This is my Gabriel & Co band but it is on the thinner side, maybe 2mm.

I love that band. I have actually pinned it as inspiration! .....I just want it to be just a little wider. The tiny band I have been wearing with it like 1.4mm, and it's way too small - for me anyway -

LouMom I actually saw both of those and liked them! They are both platinum and my ring is white gold. I am not necessarily committed to having rounds. I just want something that looks like it goes and can be worn alone.
 
What about one with all baguettes? I think that would look lovely (and match really well with your ering!)!

I am totally open to that. I just cannot picture how it would look. And I haven't seen many that look vintage in an Art Deco way. Not in a 1980s way. :)

ChristineGreco I actually have yours pinned as inspiration as well! I thought I would love that look. It is so pretty on other people. But it just isn't me.

I ordered this band today. It should be ready to ship in two weeks. The return policy is good so if I get it and don't love it, I am not stuck. Fingers crossed it works!

I have a few Gabriel pieces and have been thinking about ordering another band. Everything I have has held up nicely, but I do take off my jewelry for cleaning, heavier tasks, etc. :wavey:
