I recently picked up what I thought was an absolute bargain Emerald ring with 2 small diamond accents, when the ring arrived all I was interested in was the condition/quality of the emerald to be honest and I paid little attention to the rest of the ring for a day or so. Its my mums birthstone so im always looking for nice pieces as gifts ( good son
) Yesterday I picked up the ring for a proper overall examination and much to my surprise 1 of the side diamonds is a fancy pink colour, I then checked the other diamond and although it isn't the same pink as the 1st it does have a HINT of pink but faces up on the hand as pretty much white. The stones are no bigger than 5 points each and have a different tone but still a nice surprise
The ring is 18ct white gold ( not plated white ) the emerald is 6.5mm x 3.5mm and looks as deep as it is wide ( if not deeper ) and is pretty clean for an emerald. it is also very heavy ( 7g ) Here are a couple pictures of it, when you focus on the side stones you can see that 1 of them is of a darker tone to the other. I couldn't get a very good shot up close that fully shows the pink tone, too small unfortunately. Still shocked that the seller didn't mention the colour of the diamonds .
