Hello again PS!

My gosh has it been a journey. To feel as clueless as I did last week to now becoming overly OCD about this whole process.

First I got to say thank you to all the kind people that replied to me. It was a huge help hearing all your advice and I tried as best I could to implement them. I wish we were a bit more competent at picking out our engagement ring, but I still feel we need help.

I spent some time coming through what is out there and narrowed down some choices

I was hoping you could tell me where I maybe wrong in having these as the final 3, and which could be eliminated. They are all within TIC range. Ranging from hca score 0.6 - 1.7

For context, the diamond will be set in a yellow gold 6 prong so...

First the most questionable a 1.23C, J VS2
With a questionable ‘faint greenish yellow’ and IGI report :/
Hca score 0.6
$5k :)

Second
1.01 H SI2 (eye clean?) slightly large CA @ 36*
HCA score 1.7
$4.8k

Lastly the visual favorite but more pricey
1.01C. J VVS2 HCA score 1.3
$5.5k

35.5ca 40.6pa 56%table 62.2% depth

Since the setting is yellow gold the larger carat 1.23 J faint greenish yellow is tempting.

However I am hoping you could let us know if it’s worth the $ to just go with the visually pleasing J VVS2

I hope I have made this as easy enough, to not waste any more of your time.

Appreciate all you’re guidance in this !!
:kiss2:

#3 of these choices. :mrgreen2:

If you don't want these snatched up, call and reserve them! it's easy to see where they are available from and to look them up based on size and parameters. anyway, i seriously love a puffy crown so i really like #2. Obviously #3 is a beautiful stone and the j color will look white face up. I wanted to like #1 but i found the video and i'm really not digging it. It's more of a K or L in color and i just don't think the yellow/green undertone is nice. If you want to drop to a K color, there are a few nice options in the 1.2ct size you're looking at here.

LOL. welp I am back mulling over it again, now with the K color option you mentioned. haha. ((btw, Thanks for the tip to put them on hold.))

Both are visually stunning. Do you think dropping down to K would be that noticeable in a yellow band/white prong setting?? you all are more the prof. so I would love hearing your opinions.

These are the "final":lol-2: finalists.

.... just from the face of them. I do see a noticeable color change.

I like the 1.01, J, VVS2.

how to decide! ! ! oy. The J keep calling me... but then i think a bigger carat would be nice ;)

I am slowly figuring this out. The are some really good options and the ideal scope helps tremendously narrow this down.

The more I read the more I have a hard time singling it out. Strong Flor. helps J and K colored diamonds.
So its a positive? Now I just have to flip a coin I guess. Or ask opinions! :D
Opinion poll: What would you do ... go for the J 1.023ct with Strong Flor. or the James Allen - K 1.13ct with Strong Flor.
Both hearts and arrows. The J having slightly better symmetry.
