Baby shower etiquette: Opinions please!

Let me just say that midst all of this drama (unemployment, baby, no money, etc...), dad is rooting for TWINS!!!

Luckily, she had an ultrasound and they only saw one baby.

No idea. I know it works like that for welfare, but they are not on that. (Yet)

I keep checking back on this thread thinking that there will be an update on the baby shower and we'll hear more about her behavior. But then I remember - oh yeah, there isn't going to be a shower, just presents...

Lol... I haven't heard from either of them in a while, and I am so NOT bringing it up to her. In the mean time, my family members are appalled with the situation and likely will not be getting them anything. Sad, they would have gotten her a bunch of stuff, but their behavior is so disgusting (especially the job stuff) that it has left a nasty taste in everyone's mouth.
