b2cjewels.com - Thoughts about this online seller?

B2cjewels.com seems to have fantastic prices, and based on online reviews, people seem thrilled with the quality of stones they've purchased. However, this company obviously isn't as main-stream as others (BN, Allen, etc.), so despite the great reviews, I am still slightly skeptical. Any thoughts? Does anyone have any experience with this company? Are there any better quality and value-driven alternatives?

Thanks in advance!

Do they have good photography/Ideal Scope capabilities? I don't think they do this, so that is why they are not as popular as other vendors.

I've bought a few diamonds online (and some of those were trade-in to upgrade). I prefer to buy the in-house stones that are already well-documented. If you have lots of time, you can go through having one called in or having it sent to an appraiser for you. It all depends how much time and shipping costs you want to spend to try to find a diamond for a few hundred dollars less.

Good Old Gold and Brian Gavin are the ones I have dealt with. Whiteflash is the other that I'd consider.

If you are in NYC I would go to ERD and IDJ. Spend an hour at each. Make an appointment BEFORE you go. Ask for Mark at ERD and Yekutiel at IDJ.

If you were buying a car you would spend time at the dealer ship, take a test drive? Etc? Same thing here. You are spending 17k and you live in NYC, take advantage of that.

Fantastic price, I agree. But Gypsy is the pro here, you want to see what you buy. You can easily buy one and get it checked out by a certified appraiser and if you have issues, just return it. But then you probably have to wait some time for a credit. Or you can go to one of the NYC vendors mentioned and say "hey, I saw a stone like this, can you help me?" or they will simply find a stone and work in your budget.

Yekutiel has an access to the stones that are listed on b2cjewels. He can call some in if they are located in NYC.

I am 1 satisfied customer of B2C, :appl:
my wife has praised B2C for the quality they have offered and although she was aware of the 100% refund (which was never needed)
they did provide us with Ideal Scope/ ASET image for diamonds we insisted. The only source of knowledge is experience so I guess its worth giving a try!!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I recently contacted them (about 3 or 4 days ago) requesting some further information about a few diamonds and requesting a price on a custom made ring and I have yet to hear back from them :(

I have heard some really good reviews about their products and services.

We are gonna to try them out when we decide to go for our rings.

It is a competitive world and there is no harm in making less profits to make a place in the market.

As a customer, it is good for us.
