B2CJewels - anyone have any experience buying from them?

I've noticed that they have very low prices, but aren't part of the in-house search. I saw a few stones that are pretty - one in particular that's over 2ct, xxx, H&A, above K color and SI1 clarity, HCA of under 2 for around $15K - doesn't that seem to be a really low price considering that its H&A?

Thoughts? do they provide IS images and additional gemologist reviews?

I've never bought from them but have considered it. I know for sure that they don't provide IS on stones that aren't their own (I emailed to ask maybe a month ago). Can't help you with your other questions, though, sorry!

I have ordered 2 stones from them now and are returning them both as they were not eye clean as described. I have noticed that they are consistently cheaper than other retailers, but for a few reasons. No IS images, no certified gemologist review, somewhat biased feedback (from vendor, not B2C), and the diamonds don't arrive in a nice ring box and packaging like JA and BN orders.

I ordered 2 SI2 stones and specifically asked if they were eye clean from all angles. I received confirmation from B2C and so I bought both. When they came in, they were certainly not eye clean and inclusions were clearly visible from the sides and partially visible from the top view. Maybe I have hawk eyes, but I asked for super eye clean, and it was not what I received. Otherwise, the stones were as expected. Came in the typically diamond paper baggy inside the GIA report holder.

But, their return policy is quite nice as they pay for shipping both ways if you decide to return within 30 days. So it really is a risk-free return policy. You can buy the stones, check them out in person, and return them if you don't like them. But the hassle of having to go through the process twice now is a bit frustrating. If B2C had a unbiased gemologist analyze the diamonds and tell me they were not eye clean like JA and BN does, I could have avoided the trouble. But if you get lucky and pick up a stone you like, it's a pretty nice chunk of savings. Good luck!

thank you very much for the information - that's what I thought. I couldn't find any information on their site regarding gemologist inspections, so no surprise there. I would also be ticked off if I was told that the stones are eye clean and BOTH are not. I wouldn't trust them - I think I'll stick to JA.

Thanks again :-)

I would say that their pricing *seems* cheaper as they seem to have a few of the "bargain" diamonds. These are at the lower end of the scale for their cut/color/clarity. You can actually find these same stones with other retailers for a very similar price.

If they have the setting you want - then it may be worth it. Otherwise, unlikely. You may save a few dollars, but this will be swallowed up in insurance and setting fees.

JA do offer an independent view and magnified pictures.

B2C Jewels are their from quiet some time, I am not sure if they provide IS but prices are very good, I think I would suggest to
check with them if they could provide you the IS and someone could review the stone for you, once you have the information from them,
than it is your call, but because prices are attractive I think they deserve one try.
