I would say the twist is very taste specific. Also, would you tire of it?

I was thinking the same thing. Also with an I color should the sides be on such a display.

i didn't end up ordering a setting from them but i did the "try it for free" - you can try some of the settings in a base metal for $10 shipping

Did you not like the quality? I did order a couple samples.

The quality seemed fine and the settings looked like a good value. I have a photo of them somewhere and will look for it later. I ended up going with a custom setting. If I remember correctly, the solitaire I tried was pretty dainty but didn't seem too fragile.

I agree... move on to something else where you won’t have trepidation!

Of that group I think the Tiffany replica looks the best. Plus it has 6 prongs, which adds security and will help the diamond keep looking round and bigger. Sometimes 4 prongs can make a stone look squarish and smaller.

If cost is a factor, here is a cheaper version without the knife edge. Width of this one varies from 1.8 to 2.5mm, depending on stone size. The Tiffany version you selected appears to be 2.2mm regardless but will likely look thinner because of the knife edge effect.

I personally think this one has a really nice side profile. Kinds of hides the pavilion, but with hints of exposure. Width of this one is 2.2mm. And again, 6 prong.

This last one is a 4 prong and varies 2.40-3.50mm depending on diamond size. The split shank adds some interest, but also the basket and little swirls has a nice effect on the side profile, and it helps hide the pavilion of the stone a little since you are worried about I color.

i didn't get more detailed photos but if it's of any help these are the b2c tryon rings, the one on the right & bottom is the "Diamond Solitaire Cathedral Engagement Ring With Six Double Prongs And Floral Motif In 14K White Gold(2.0 mm)"

Be careful of some of the B200430558-7857-470E-B622-E2D25E282F39.jpegEF8B4B78-41A8-43CC-80CC-B8B3CC8A00D3.pngC settings, some don’t turn out like the 3-D renderings on their website.

Sorry about my post to keep splitting it up with the images for some reason.
