Hi guys! First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm hoping the considerable expertise and experience on this forum could help me out.

I'm trying to buy a diamond and setting from B2C Jewels. I'm located in Australia and due to this, they're requiring me to provide a government issued photo ID with residential address before they process my payment. Problem is, a driver's licence apparently isn't enough. They want a passport, and Australian passports don't provide residential address.

Would have been nice if their website had let me know they'd need this info BEFORE they took my payment, but whatever...

My question is, have any other international (non-US) buyers bought from B2C Jewels? If so, have you had to deal with a similar process? How did it turn out for you?

Hi Rose

B2C Jewels has been in the business from long time, basically they have little strict verification process on Credit Cards & Pay pal
orders, one of my friend had bought the diamond from them and they faced similar issue, I think they ask for documents to ensure
there is no fraudulent activity taking place to secure there business, it usually does not happen every time only if they require
they ask for Credit card photo copies & license ( only if customer is willing to provide) however my friend who bought from them is very
happy about the purchase and no complains whatsoever.

I am sure all online stores have there process set for verification, usually in my opinion problem occurs when customer places the order
from different country and ship it to his country so because two different addresses on the order online they become more cautious
and ask for more details like license & passport. Likewise I think stores also obtain IP address, when the IP address shows different city
and shipping address different city they may again get cautious, I think there would be many such reasons like this.

The company B2C Jewels is legit and in the business from long time, many customers have spoken great things about them, I think it is worth dealing with them because also there prices are better than most of the companies, if the process is very inconvenient than I would
suggest to cancel the order and place the order with different company which has the office in Australia.

I had similar issues when purchasing diamonds from them before. Let them know of your problems and they should be able to work out an alternative with you.

Personally, I have not had any issues dealing with them, but I agree with "diamondloveaffair" call them up, speak with them, I am sure they will do their best to resolve the matter.

Good Luck :lickout:
