Hey all,

I've been looking at a GIA diamond and took it to have a Sarin Analysis done to find out more about the cut. The issue I have is that their is a big variance in the angles (dev of 2.1 on crown and 1.1 on Pavilion) which I attribute to the girdle being faceted? The diamond isnt perfect as the symmetry is only VG (due to facets on girdle not lining up 100%) I'm trying to figure out which numbers to plug into the HCA? should I use the average but I cant see that being accurate for the entire diamond?

Using the averages the HCA gave a grade of 4.1.

as an FYI it the Gemologist graded it an AGS 1 cut unnofficially as the stone is GIA.
