AVC vs Canera Antique Cushion vs Canera European Round for Upgrade

If you are selling your AVC, I'd definitely go with the round. I've always wanted a cushion too, but I can't give up the coverage of the round!!

Oh no, we've opened a can of worms! Let's please keep this thread focused on picking out a shiny sparkly for me. Please start another thread if you want to discuss Victor Canera vs GoodOldGold stones in general or these patent issues. I'll just go on the record and say both are fine vendors with great customer service. And I want to keep both of them happy with me because I'm sure I'll want more sparklies from them in the future!

Yes Victor. Trade people went so far as throwing the hope diamond at my patent to try and disprove it but that too failed.

Apologies for any misunderstanding azstonie. I wasn't attempting to justify commenting as I was just simply responding to the comments in this thread, and yes I feel as i do. I wasn't looking to threadjack and I do apologize to ggp that it went in that direction.

This is why I ended up going with a CER instead of a cushion as well. I desperately searched for a cushion that would meet my size desire, rectangular shape, and budget. After 5 years, I gave up. I really wanted a certain diameter and it seemed like I would have to go a whole carat larger to get what I wanted in a cushion versus a round.

Here is a picture of my CER set by VC and my AVC pendant set by SK. The CER is 4 carat, 10 mm diameter. The AVC is a 2.74, 8.58 x 7.78 mm.

Again, you really won't go wrong with any of the stones you are considering. They are all fabulous!!
