I don’t usually start threads....I’m more comfortable lurking. I felt inclined to post due to the outstanding customer service I received from Jon and Vicki at Distinctive Gem. I reached out last week (3/29) asking if a diamond they had in inventory might fit my existing setting. Jon was very punctual via email and thought the stone would fit. All via email, I received the shipping and payment instructions that same day. I received the ring today (it should have been here yesterday but fedex had delays). I have been buying jewelry online for a decade and a half and this was, by far, the fastest turn around.
I was on the fence for years about what to place in my halo (colored stone, mined diamond,etc.). I was really struggling with the idea of spending so much on a stone, when I knew it wouldn’t get much wear. A lab diamond with a precision cut was my best option. Thanks to DG for offering these beauties.
