I think I have mentioned before that my DD has a diagnosis of PDD-NOS. That means she has some traits on the autism spectrum without having enough to be typical of autism or asperger's. She is very high functioning. Anyway, she was in regular pre K program this past school year but spent an hour a day in a special class at a school called John Muir. They have the only early intervention program for pre school aged kids in the city and really need a play structure. Please vote for this project on the pepsi site. You an vote once a day for the month of July. I think you'll find there are many other worthy causes to use your other four votes on. The teacher of this class is such a great person. She cares so much for the kids and goes above and beyond what the school probably expects from her.
