Australian Wholesale Diamonds - where to buy?

Hello
Im hoping some fellow Aussie's can help me. I live in Brisbane and am looking for a great diamond wholesaler. I have been to many many websites both here and USA, and I would like some recommendations form people who have purchased from online stores located in Australia.

Im looking to buy a loose princess 2.5 carat plus so want to be totally confident with my wholesaler.

The only online jeweller I have consistently heard to be good is Jogia. But you are still much better off in terms of choice and price by purchasing from an online dealer in the States, especially with the dollar so high.

I tend to agree with Pancake about purchasing from the states but Glam Mosher just had someone in Perth source her an
OEC and it turned out really nice.

I haven't personally purchased from him yet but I have him searching for some Argyle Pink melee for me and he has been great to deal with this far.

I think he travels a bit (off to Adelaide this week for work) so it's very possible that he may be in Brisbane in the future.

If you do decide to contact him, use the mobile or email him direct, but don't use the 'contact us' page on his website as he is not getting the requests.

We're in Brisbane but we chose to purchase from Brian Gavin Diamonds in the US, so I can't help you with my experience. I will say that the process of buying from the US is easy if you choose to go that route.

If you want to purchase within Australia, other PSers have said good things about Jorgia Diamonds (Perth) (http://www.jogiadiamonds.com.au/) and Holloway Diamonds (Melbourne)(http://www.hollowaydiamonds.com.au/). They are worth investigating.
