2 half gallon cartons of Vanilla Silk for the DH and teenager
1 half gallon of 2% Organic cow's milk for the toddler

We went through a lot of milk with all of the holiday breakfasts, casseroles and mashed potatoes we've made in recent weeks.

I rarely drink milk.

Yup almost a full gallon of 1%. I use it in cereal or drink it with breakfast foods. DH drinks it with dessert.

I can't drink milk. There's a lot of things I know about dairies and what they do to cows and I just can't. People keep telling me to drink organic, but I still have that idea that milk is milk. I drink almond milk. I think it's better than milk with cereal

I can't do Soy Milk at all, and don't like rice or hemp milk, but I can only do real milk in low doses or in recipes. So Almond Milk is one of the only ones I can really digest ok and like. The Unsweetened Vanilla almond breeze so far is my favorite (I like the chocolate too, I also get unsweetened there too) and I add a little splenda to sweeten to my liking.

Yes, 1% but just one litre. I'm the only one who drinks it. I can't help myself. We have a family farm and growing up that meant going directly to the dairy to get milk and put it in our GLASS milk bottles and watching the cream rise to the top. I spent a year drinking only soy but at the end of the day I just didn't like it for cereal or coffee so I went back to the real thing.

No. I don't like milk or milk substitutes (almost to the point of a phobia, since I worked for a summer on my friend's dairy farm).
We have a fridge and freezer in one of our outbuildings though, where DH keeps stuff that makes me shudder (mostly milk and blue cheese). Probably also a lot of chocolate, on the basis that it will be his best chance of actually getting some.

A jug of skim, dh drinks about a gallon a week, I use a splash in my tea and on cereal when I eat it I heard somewhere that humans are the only mammels that continue to drink milk after weaning. interesting.

I am a tea drinker so I make sure we ALWAYS have milk...a half gallon of Skim Plus at all times.

Right before Sandy hit I made the husband get a package of powdered milk in case the power went out and we had to throw away all our food. And as it turned out, we lost power and had to toss everything--but I stayed calm because I had my tea with milk!

1L of organic unhomogenised Guernsey milk. That probably sounds snobby but there are all kinds of milk politics in Australia with lots of our local dairy farmers going out of business or worse yet committing suicide under financial pressure from supermarkets so I buy the more expensive stuff and not the supermarket brands.

Yes, we have whole milk in the fridge. I don't drink milk, but my kids use it for cereal and DH uses it for his lattes. The only time we don't have milk is when we run out and that is rare as I try to make sure we're stocked up. It's probably about time we switch to 2%...the kids are getting older and one of my sons has started to drink water more frequently than milk (his choice).

ETA - just checked: we have 2.5 gallons of milk...then because of holidays 1 quart Egg Nog (half gone), 1 quart half and half, & whipping cream. Normally, I don't buy that other stuff.

No cow milk... but I do have coconut milk creamer for coffee/tea[NOT to be confused with coconut flavored creamer... this tastes like plain creamer but made from coconut milk]

For those of you that drink almond milk, I really suggest you try coconut milk. I much prefer original unsweetened coconut milk to almond products. Especially the creamer!!
