Hi all,

First time poster, but I have been lurking for the past week - this forum has been a wealth of information, particularly for ovals where there appears to be a relative dearth.

I'm hoping to get a second set of eyes on a lab-grown oval (2.58 ct) that has stood out to me.

I think I can see inclusions at the marked spot, although I'm not 100% sure. There doesn't seem to be a bowtie. And there are are some mushy "dead" bits but the center facets seem pretty crisp.

What do you guys think? Thank you in advance.

Center and tips are nice which is as nice as it gets. The mushy parts are usual for a nice oval like this,
The VS1 is middle to lower end but totally eye clean.

I’m not good evaluating ovals, but I wanted to help bump this post up. brian Gabin has lab ovals now, if you wanted to compare.

Thank you for your comments in this thread @Garry H (Cut Nut). I’m also looking for an oval diamond and have no idea what to look for. Your comments helped a great deal. Thank you again.

Incredibly helpful insight, thank you.

I will check out the Brian Gavin lab ovals as a sort of benchmark, thanks for the tip!

I’m not an expert, but that looks lovely.
