Asscher & Trapezoid advice needed please

Hi there,

Can anyone help me?

I have an Asscher (see details below), and I would like to purchase two of the Trapezoid to go either side to look like this (http://mdcdiamonds.com/images/ProductImages/ES127AC.jpg)

My current Asscher
• Carat: 1.2
• Colour: F
• Measurements: 5.80x5.76x3.96
• Table: 64%
• Depth: 68.7%


What should I be looking for in terms of dimensions so the proportions are correct and like the picture, is there a general rule of thumb? I believe I will need the length of the Trapezoid to be 5mm, I am unsyre of what the width and L/W ratio should be or mean?

Based on the proportions in the picture, my guess are traps that are 4 mm thereabouts on the longest side. For something like this, I would have the vendor who is making the setting source the traps and allow him/her to select the right sized diamonds for you.

can anyone recommend good vendors for high quality fancies? I have had an awful time finding kites and shields that aren't shardy.

They look like they are about as long as the flat of a side (also, the length measurement minus the windmills)
