I was wondering if I could get you all''s opinion on the following asscher cut stones:

I was wondering if someone could explain why the square pattern around the table to the stone looks so different on these two. The pattern on the first one is what I am used to seeing, though the more and more that I search the more I am seeing the second pattern.
I like this one but the symetry is only "good" and the image itself looks a little smudgy.

A final question, about how long would you say a typical acquisition of a diamond takes. If you take the search, the design of a setting, the construction and shipping into account, how far ahead from the date where you need the ring would you recommend having people call in diamonds for you? I ask because I do not need the ring until June, so I am not looking to buy right away. I do not know if I should be having people at sites like niceice and such start their searches for me now or if I should wait a few months. I know there is no harm in getting it early but since I dont need it, I think I would rather wait. Of course I do not want to wait too long to ask people to run searched since I dont know how long it usually takes to find a *kicken* ring.
