Please comment on the sarin for this Asscher. I''m trying to post pics and idealscope, but having problems reducing to 100 kb. I''ll get them up later. For now, any red flags? If not, I''m going to buy this one, so please give me feedback ASAP.
It''s a little over 100 KB. Of course, office computer won''t let me download photo programs, but I''m running home now to do so. Please check back in a little bit and hopefully I''ll have them up. Thanks again.
Oh I feel better having the approval of you guys, my virtual experts. I welcome any others' comments too.
It is an H, VS1 clarity. It looks white to me (and her, more importantly.) I really am not too good at evaluating the ideal scope images, but compared to the other asschers I held it against (some being much pricier), it was the only one with the 10 mile deep look. The price is a little over 18K. Sound reasonable or excessive to you all?
Edit addition, it is rated Ex, Ex and has medium girdle and no cullet. I also noted that compared to the others I've seen, it had a rather plump underside, instead of a pointed uspide-down pyramid. Is that beneficial, or doesn't matter?
price is good.
About the underside without knowing what your comparing it too it is hard to say.
there are various angle combinations that work and each gives a slightly different face up appearance.
Like anything else with diamonds its how the angles interact with each other that counts.
The ones to watch out for are the ones that slop nice then go nearly flat leaving a large flat or near flat on the bottom.
\_/ like that. Putting the diamond over a bright colored object and looking down at it will pick them out quickly because you will see a big block of the bright color at the center.
Thank you all so much. It is reassuring to hear that you approve. I shopped pretty long and hard and gained most of my knowledge from P-scope, so thanks for the free education too.
It''s a done deal, bought it this morning. Hope she likes it! Now I just have to figure out what the heck type of setting to put it in. In any event, thank you all again for helping me know what to look for (and look out for!) Glad to hear you guys think it is pretty too.
I might let her design the setting - better chance that she''ll get what she wants that way. I''m open for suggestions, especially photos. She is rather traditional, so I can confidently say that it will have no pave and will be on a thin plat. ring. What I (and she) doesn''t know yet is whether to have trapazoids or little rectangles as the sides. Any thoughts are appreciated.
