Hello everyone, so I finally ordered my stud earrings & I am looking at stud pendants now. Hahaha, I'm an addict what can I say?! Anyways, I am looking at asscher cuts for a diamond pendant (in love w/ asschers currently    )

My question is: What is a good size for an asscher for a pendant for everyday wear? Any suggestions? I know asschers run smaller than RBs. I'm looking at between a .50ct to a 1.00ct for an Asscher cut.

Can any PSers please help? This is my early PhD graduation present LOL!! Thank you.

as big as you can afford.
1ct or just under is a in a well cut asscher is a good starting size for getting everything they offer from them.
.50 is a bit small to get everything from them.
Don't get me wrong they can rock at .5ct its just some of the features get real small.
Eagle eyed people can ignore that advise.

So, 1 ct +? Do asschers run smaller than RBs?

Yes their shape faces up the smallest. Look at dimensions.

Would a 1ct be too small then for a pendant? Should I shoot for a 1.25 ct?

If you put it in a halo, 1 ct is okay. I have a one carat in a halo right hand ring. It's just harder to see the facets in smaller asschers. If you are not doing a halo, then yes, I'd go to 1.25 if you can.
