Does anybody have an asscher cut gemstone set in yellow gold please?

I''m particularly interested in yellow or brown stones but all eye candy welcome!!!

Thanks in advance.

Ooooh! I too am interested in seeing this. I''m planning to set my asscher-cut citrine in yellow gold. I found a few examples here.

But would luv to see more if anyone know any!

LD-my light yellow EC and FIY stepcut traps are set in 18kt YG with a Plat shank. This a not so great pic, but all I could find right now.

Oh my god! Those are amazing!

LD-sorry for the misread of your pic request, I was just skimming the new threads as I was about to head out the door and saw your title of this one and immediately thought you were speaking about your lovely new chameleonesque asscher diamond and really didn't read your entire post-until now! Now I see you were looking for gemstones-oh my, you must think I am such a dunce!!! All I was thinking is how fantastic your new asscher would look bezeled in YG! Sorry :) I am planning on having my octagon/asscher spess bezel set in YG around Christmas, so am interested in pics too.

SCN - You''ve haven''t misread me! I am thinking of setting my new asscher in yellow gold but wanted to see pics of others and I''ve got to say, your collection is awesome and seeing the emerald cut in y/gold (W

W by the way!) has made me realise that it might work for mine. I did a search on here for yellow diamond asschers but drew a blank apart from one loose stone so thought any gemstone in yellow would help!

Can I ask a question please? I''ve noticed that your E/W Emerald Cut has a platinum shank? Does the ring "flow" if you know what I mean? I have a couple of mixed metal pieces and I love the look but am not sure that it works terribly well. I actually wouldn''t have known that yours was mixed metal unless you said!

I adore this ring from Pearlmans but just can''t imagine how it would look with a yellow central diamond. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=270334030568

For all those interested in seeing yellow (or other colour) asschers, here''s LTP''s amazing collection:

LD, I definitely think you''re on the right track with your citrine, but I would maybe take it to a local jeweler to see which colour/type of gold will work best with your stone.

I''m working with Julia to do a yellow gold bezel setting for my Grossular Asscher, but we haven''t hit the design stage yet. With any luck, it''ll be done the week before Christmas.

LTP - Citrine? No, I''m trying to decide on a setting for my yellowish brown diamond asscher. However, I can''t find photos of anything similar so thought if I just asked to see yellow stones it might be easier!

I can''t wait to see your new stone. I agree that a y/gold bezel will be superb for it. Lucky you.

LD-to answer your question, yes the mix of 18kt YG and Plat work beautifully together-a fabulous combination, especially on my skin tone :) To me, what really makes a piece flow is the design and how it looks on the wearer(works with their skin tone).

GAWD!!!! I LOVE ''em together too!!!!!!!!!!!
