Well I have learned alot about rounds and now I am focused on Asschers. I am wondering what you all think of this one....am I way off? This seems much more difficult than rounds. However, I am finding I am really loving how an asscher draws you into it as you look at it. Elegant and beautiful IMO (Maybe I just love all diamonds...hehe)

This is a red flag for me. I doubt it''s eyeclean.

ahhhhhhhh yes you are right.... Need my glasses. i read SI1. That must reflect the $6800 price. Any comments on size? Would you know if the measurements sound like it is using all of it''s size potential? eye clean is a must for me though. So SI2 will not due...

I'll be honest, even SI1 in a step cut might not be eyeclean either. However, I do recall one person getting an SI1 Asscher that was....Be sure you're working with a good vendor to help you. Seeing it yourself is best.

I'll let the Asscher owners help you on the stats, as I'm not that versed in them.

Hi there, all of the specs look good EXCEPT for that SI2. I really wouldn''t go below a VS2 in an asscher. However, if you must look at SI stones, don''t look below an SI1. Also, that is assuming that you would be bothered by a small inclusion - if you can see it but it doesn''t bother you, then I say go for it. But, either way, with asschers you really have to look at a stone to see if its the one. The patterns and style can''t be described without pictures.
