Hi All, I purchased this 4.40 CT LGD Asscher Cut recently, and it was a purchase I had been thinking about for a while. I thought I did enough research online, reading about asscher cuts and table depths etc etc...I *think* the stone is perfect and beautiful but now I am second guessing myself as to whether or not this is as great a stone as I think it is  I would love thoughts, assessment, observations about the stone that I may have missed...basically, did I make a huge mistake or is this as great of a stone as I hope it is? Thank you so much! FYI The photo and video is taken at home on an iphone and the stone wasn't exactly clean...it's hard to do justice to the in-person sparkle.

Appears to have on graining issues.
Would need an ASET to do more indepth cut advise.

Can you post the grading report # and lab name please?

The cut looks good and you said its very sparky so that's good.
I agree with Garry that it has some graining issues.
Do you love it?

I really love it and I think it's beautiful!! -- but now I am worried I made a mistake...it's going to be bezel set in a custom art deco setting in platinum with calibre-cut natural diamonds surrounding...

do you think the graining will bother me over time? how noticeable is it? do you think it will be okay with this setting?

does the graining seem bad enough to you that you would return it? would you suggest any other LGD available now in similar size and color?

Thank you so much for your help

Karl says it's a good cut and you really love it. Perfect diamonds barely exist.
I think you would end up with a stunning ring.

I think, if you can't see the by graining now, you probably won't see it when it's set.

So you see no graining?
I hope she bought it.

I did!!!!! I am so so so excited! Now....to have it set....I am reaching out to Mark Turnowski and to David Klass....anyone else that pricescope people would recommend for Art Deco style custom work? I can also post that question separately in the forum.

Thank you thank you thank you for your help!

LOL! That was a close one  That asscher is TO DIE FOR!! I absolutely LOVE it!! Congratulations, i cant wait to see the setting. I just got 5 things back from DK yesterday and all were amazing, just a little slow as he has exponential work coming in!
