Asscher: completely new.

Hi - I am a new user who's interested in Asscher's for "the ring"... I've been browsing a bit and came across these two and wanted to know your opinions.

I know I have a lot more work to do and a lot more to learn, but I just wanted to know if I'm headed in the right direction.

I'm trying to stay under $3500 and still have measurement ~5mm. I've seen a few K colors as well, but I'm not sure how it will hold up.

Thoughts?

the 90 pointer is a decent prospect. I don't like the other one. I'll find a couple more to propose.

And if you want to take a chance on a K this one has some potential: http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/K-VVS2-Very-Good-Cut-Asscher-Diamond-1522262.asp and so does this one: http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/K-VVS1-Very-Good-Cut-Asscher-Diamond-1085210.asp Personally I'd ask JA to pull both and pick the whiter, brighter stone to ASET.

So have them propose back one of the K stones. And then get the H and the 90 point I color on hold and in queue for ASETs. Post ASETs when you have them here, and I'll come in and check it out.
