Just wondering what people thought of this stone. I have an ASET, no CH yet though. I am going to go see it tomorrow, so we''ll see if the color bothers me. Supposedly it faces up very white despite its being a J.

Shape: Asscher
Carat weight: 1.51
Color: J
Clarity: VS2
Certificate: GIA

Depth: 71.2%
Table: 64.0%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Thick to very thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 6.13*6.07*4.32
Ratio: 1.01

Spread is small for a 1.5 ct, maybe a lot of bulge in the pavilion and also due to the think girdle and depth? We''ll see how it performs in person.

Also, I have a question about ASET scopes in general.

Why is red better than green?

As long as light is returning to the viewer, why does it matter where the light is coming from? Shouldn''t just the intensity of that returned light matter rather than its incoming direction?
