Holy moly... I feel like we're talking Spanish or something. The first Asscher IS BEAUTIFUL. It is what an Asscher SHOULD look like. It is very much worth calling in to look at. EVERYONE IS TELLING YOU THAT. Not sure why you keep asking our opinion if you're not gonna listen???
IMO ....you absolutely 100% cannot tell about whether an Asscher IS or ISN'T right for you unless you see it in person. Comparing those two pictures isn't fair really. They're taken under very different lighting conditions with different types of cameras. And you're not buying a picture. She won't be wearing THE PICTURE around on her finger.
It seems like you might not have seen enough Asschers in person to understand how they behave. Ones without dark areas will look washed out and won't show the very pattern you're PAYING for. You might as well set a square piece of glass & use that. That's plenty 'bright' with no dark areas. But not something most of us would want.
I know you're just learning - but you don't seem TO BE learning. Just asking the same questions lots of different ways & hoping for a different answer.
Your right everyone has different tastes, some might like the look of dark areas some might like the clearer look of a Asscher.
And I'm sorry for asking peoples thoughts and opinons what the above Asscher might resemble or look close to with the naked eye in person.
If I had a better picture, what it would look like in real life with the naked eye it would be easier for me to choose.

It would have helped if someone could have posted up a picture showing what this diamond would look like close to in real life.
I have asked for better pictures. You wrote how can we do that without seeing it in person, but I have picture of it on here and everyone has commented on it how buetiful and gorgious it is.Date: 5/4/2006 1:46:10 AM

How would you suggest we do that? How can WE a) tell what it looks like without seeing it in person? and/or b) happen to have a picture of a diamond that looks like it, but a better photograph than the one you got from THE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY HAS THAT STONE.
I respectfully suggest that you work with the owner/vendor of the stone you are considering, and ask them to take pictures OF THAT STONE under different lighting conditions. EVEN THEN it won''t necessarily tell you what you want to know.
As to the Sarin - Stmdr, the resident P-scope Asscher expert has already told you that a) your info is incomplete b) not much can be told about Asschers from Sarin. No one else has commented on it because no one else has any idea what to make of that bunch of #s.
Sorry if my tone shows my frustration. People here are always eager to help when possible. It seems as if what you want to know or see or find out just ISN''T possible or realistic.
Hope I''m wrong - for your sake!
NO I''m not looking for a Asscher that wont show any dark areas and I know that the asscher is all about the pattern, when I saw the asscher in person here I noticed that they showed some dark areas when viewing it.

you posted a picture of my asscher and I just wanted to tell you I also received a picture that made it look much darker than it is in person. The picture was taken in a certain lighting to emphasize the patterns but in person my asscher is super bright. You can see the patterns but they are not dark they way they were in the picture. I think that asschers are really hard to photograph but in person they are amazing. I think the one you have a picture of is gorgeous and it may be the one but you can always look around and see if you can find another great one.
