Long time lurker, first time poster (hello!). I looked at a Asscher today and wanted everyone opinions.

Specs:

Shape = Asscher
Dimensions = 5.57x5.57x3.85
Depth = 69.1%
Table = 61.0%
Girdle = M-T
Clarity = VS1
Color = F
Symmetry = VG
Polish = VG
Cullet = none
Fulor = none
Actual Weight = 1.06ct.

tough lighting to judge it in.
Some minor leakage in the culet area but some tilt too.
Some pictures in better lighting would help but I like what I see so far.
Did you see it in person?

Other than storms observations... my comment is that I have a 1.09 and I have .3 mm spread on that one. The spread would bug me, personally.

Yes I did see it in person. It looked nice to me, but then again I''m no expert.

What exactly to you mean by leakage and tilt?

The photo taken wasn''t the best as you can tell by the poor lighting...

How were the patterns in person, uniform and filled in or broken up?

They looked uniform to me. Could some of the issues that you are talking about be because the stone wasn''t mounted 100% parallel to the camera lens?

Gypsy, what are you refering to when you say spread?

Yes and also because it is so blown up in size.

The spread of the stone is within the normal limits for asschers.
