This is the 1.83 generic asscher I selected. (The other choice was the 1.59 Royal Asscher.)
I decided to go with the simple Vatche x-prong but with double prongs. It arrives tomorrow from Good Old Gold.

It''s a beauty Linda.
What''s the color/clarity? Thanks

I can''t see your pic but well remember you having a hard time choosing. I think you made an excellent choice!!!!

Wow. That is a lovely stone and a fabulous ring!!!!!!

congrates!!!!!
I wondered which you went with....

It is I color and VS1. Here is the link to all the specs on the Good Old Gold website:

The pictures I just posted are from Good Old Gold. They are a bit fuzzy and you can tell on one picture that it was taken with a flash and the other wasn't.

Once I get it I'll try to take other pictures.

~~Wow!! Your ring is beautiful!! I can''t wait to see more pics!! It''s a beauty!

I changed my mind at least three times before selecting the generic asscher. I really liked both but in the end I was pragmatic and picked the larger less costly diamond.

Has anyone seen earrings done with asschers?

It''s great to see another double prong x-prong. My wife really loves hers.

Whoa! I hadn''t seen a double prong x-prong. Was that a custom adaptation? I like how it looks like hearts from the top.

The double prong x-prong was first shown at the Vegas diamond show in 2004. Jon from GOG saw it and told me about it when I was looking for a setting. My wife''s Jubilee e-ring was one of the first ones sold. Here''s a LINK to her ring.

Wowza, it''s beautiful!

Wow, that is a stunner of an asscher, and I adore the clean lines of the setting! Yum!

that''s going to be an amazing ring. Can''t wait to see hand shots! Major bling!

Who doesn''t love a beautiful asscher?! Congratulations it looks great!!

The ring arrived this morning. This is one shot on my hand. It''s hard to take clear pictures without a macro setting...The double prongs are very delicate and really don''t look like hearts.
