Hello everyone,

I am looking for a cushion diamond with a budget of 12k. My fiance wants a ring like HR style cushion with halo (The One, Cushion-Cut Diamond Micropavé Engagement Ring). Once I get a diamond, I will ask Maytal to do a setting. Am I on the right track?

I looked through PS and found out GOG and narrowed down to two diamonds. (I am open to any other options too.)

1.20ct G VS2 AVC

1.22ct F SI1 AVC

This one has a feather at the edge. Can we call this eye clean SI1? Do you think it can be hidden by a prong?

If you have any better idea in terms diamond, please feel free to provide any.
Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards,
Min

Ask GOG about your clarity concerns. They are excellent with customer service.

Nice stones.

But a Maytal halo in that style is going to cost more than 10k. FYI.

And the HW ring is not an antique style stone. It's a modern cut cushion.

You might be better off with this combo:

and

or

or

A setting in that style, done right is going to cost a minimum of 3k. And easily 4-5k.

You need to budget appropriately for that.
