What should I be looking for in these stones? Only the first two are contenders....
the first is an H VVSI 1.85 ct and the second is an I VVS2 2.0 ct- both 2.0 carat and well-cut with strangely the same measurements!
price-wise they are comparable as well. Which would you choose?

Not an asscher expert...but it looks like the Center of the first one would be dark. The second looks like
it would be brighter.

Do you have the links to the real images? Sort of helps to have the combination of the
the images to help figure out what's going on.

I am no expert, even though i have one. I chose based on how it looked to me. I did not have the luxury of an ASET image...But, am sure others will chime in. ASET for 1 and 2 are similar. the darkness in the centre may be the way the pavilions are sometimes cut to retain carat weight v performance. However, the broader windmills get to me all the time.

Real pics would be good, too.
you mention that both are 2 ct? but one is 1.85 and the other is 2ct? Some of the step cuts could face up the same dimensions, however, its the depth that is going to change- how it is cut for weight retention v optics.

Silly question... you already have a beautiful Asscher, right? hmmm.. begs the question... why are you looking at another asscher??? uptosomething???? hehehhehe.

none of the above.
Both have p3 issues without enough light return in the center.
