ASET Image for Diamond

I'm currently shopping around for an e-ring and I might consider this one I found on blue nile.

Would anyone be able to generate an ASET image or an Ideal Scope image for this diamond and if you're able to give me any opinion on this diamond.

It looks nice but we can't generate an ASET...you'll need to ask BN if they can provide you with an ASET or idealscope. Any particular reason for such high color and clarity?

The reason is because my girlfiend said all her friends recommended high colour and clarity. Do you recommend me to go lower in specs?

For the ASET or Ideal scope image, if anyone have a diamond software such as DiamCalc, I believe you can use that to generate those images.

I'd be tempted to drop to a G and get a bigger stone. Ditto VVS with a VS2 which looks clean on the zoomed image.

Have you tried viewing F and G and H when set? It's unlikely you or she will tell the difference, whereas the carat differential will be obvious.

I've never had any luck requesting ASET from BlueNile. You could always buy the stone (it has a 30-day return period) and pay a gemologist in your city to generate an ASET for you.

There is no point in punching those proportions numbers in a software to provide ASET/IS image.
57/34.5/40.8 is a perfect combo. Nothing wrong with 55% star or 80% LGL either. For this stone, a computer generated ASET based on numbers alone (without 3D scanning) will be perfect.

If your lady wants high color/clarity combo and her friends value such combo, go for it.

Significantly bigger, the same clarity/color combo, arguably better looking, with IS image, significantly cheaper.

Color and clarity is not what makes a diamond sparkle...it's cut. These two diamonds would get you better color, bigger size and are still 100% eye clean. One is an AGS stone and already provides a perfect ASET on the certificate but it's a bit more expensive than the other one (ask JA if they could provide an idealscope for the other one).
