Hi,

What do you think of this diamond below, would very much like your input on the proportions :)
Thanks for your help!

aset.jpg photo.jpg heart.jpg arrow.jpg
Depth 61.5%
Table 57%
Pavilion 40.8 deg; 43%
Crown 35 deg; 15%
Girdle 3.5%

Sorry, but too much leakage under the table for me. Some imperfections in the hearts where the "pigeon toes" (thanks for the term @denverappraiser !) are a bit long on one side of the heart than the other and they have variation in size between them (12, 9, 11 show this the most).

What about these? {hope I remembered your brief}

Hi, this is a nice ASET, poorly taken is the issue. The ASET scope is too far away from the stone, you can tell from the hint of green in the arrows, suggesting the pavilion mains are reflecting some <45 degree light (isn't true) which means the ASET is too high up.

Not H&A but not terrible!

Should be a good performing stone, all depends on price if it's better or worse for you compared to the stones above.

I stand corrected! :oops: I did not notice the green arrows. So, @gm89uk, if the scope was closer...it would look like less leakage (i.e., under the table would be less white/grey)?

I suspect so. Also it might be lots of excess lighting when taking the image rather than just a backlit otherwise dark room

Correct over bright back light and incorrect alignment of the scope.

The heart image also suffers from incorrect alignment.
The stone is better than the image indicates but im not making a positive h&a call on a bad image.

Thanks heaps! Appreciate all your help and also link suggestions :)
