Is the center of this cushion a problem? All advice is appreciated!

looks like a well cut cushion.
 
symmetry looks pretty good

red in the center would be better, but the green in the center here should be okay too...have you seen the diamond in person?

if you're too far away to see it in person, try and ask for a video of the diamond
 
well, that's an interesting aset on a cushion...the red and green are usually flipped. There's still a good amount of red indicating it has good light return. If you've seen it and like the pattern I say go for it!

Post the grading report, that looks like a large table short crown diamond. Won't get much fire out of it and black background ASET hides leakage and head shadow so not sure it will be super bright either.

Compare it to other diamonds and see how it stacks up.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to see it in person at the moment, but enclosed is GIA's report and an image of the stone. What are your impressions?

It is the typical look of short crown diamonds. I guess brightness is fairly good but not sure about scintillation and fire.
