Which one of it will be a better choice. Please advice?
Is the ASET of Diamond1 better then Diamond2?
By choosing crown angle of 33.5 in Diamond1 am I compromising on fire?
Can the ASET reveal that the diamond will have good fire?
Hearts formed in Diamond2 look better while in Diamond 1 there are lot of dark spots in the Hearts image. I could not figure out why?
Any inputs will be really helpful.
Thanks, RJ

Hey mate - I'm in the trade so I can't comment on which is better etc. --- but the dark spots are the inclusion on the table reflecting around the pavilion - - as long as the reflection's not visible face up it shouldn't concern you.
Hope this helps

Is that first one eye-clean? If not, I wouldnt want it. You didnt put down the size of the stones (mm).

My choices would be first eye-clean then second probably size.

Edit...what is your budget?

Hi tyty,
thanks for your response. The sizes are:
Diamond1: 5.63*5.66*3.29
Diamond2: 5.29*5.32*3.21
Both were eye clean. My question is which one is a better choice based on the ASET and H&A images?
Thanks, RJ

They both have decent h&a images and they both look like they have ever so slight leakage under the table (I don't think it's a any thing to worry about).

Diamond 2 has more standard angles but I like the way the first one looks better. Are they at the same location? If so, ask the gemlogist to look at them and tell you what they see.

I'd go to a .5 J SI1 that is cleaner than the first one you posted. You can get SI1 stones that do not have black inclusions. What is your budget?

Thanks for your responses tyty and diamondseeker. I am really glad that you replied.
I am based in India and my budget is between 900 to 1000 USD. I am planning to go with .55, K SI2 as tyty also suggested that both have minimal light leakage. Infact .55 Carat diamond2 above is around 170 USD lesser than .65 carat diamond1.
thanks, RJ

RJ, have you seen a K color in person? If not, you may be disappointed by the yellow tinge. Some people are not bothered by it, but many are.

I agree with DS that you should find an eye clean J SI1 for around 0.5 cts. There are several good options on James Allen and Enchanted Diamonds, and we can recommend a few of the best if that's an economically viable option.
