Okay so this is a 14K white gold band set with white and natural untreated(according to the store) blue diamonds

I fell in love with it from the minute I saw it and the store has an amazing lay away plan!!!

Anyways, I went back today to get some pictures just so I can post them for you guys so here it is. What do you think?

1/2 carat $899.00

It''s stunning!

I really truly don''t want to burst your bubble, but I think the blue diamonds look irradiated. Which is fine; they''re still diamonds and still gorgeous! (I have a lovely irradiated green diamond ring.) But I think the store was incorrect when they told you they were untreated. The color saturation is too strong and the price too good for natural untreated blues.

JStar, No bursting of my bubble here :) Honestly, I really like the store in which I am purchasing this ring. Customer service is superb but in all reality.... Maybe they are treated either way, I asked them about the treatment and got a very quick response of untreated from the manger. He possibly didn''t know off the top of hs head but thought I may never know the difference.

Your right a beautiful genuine diamond ring.

I truly appreciate your honesty. Sometimes we want to give it, but people can be thankful... or offended. I am thankful :)

To answer another question, the ring is not eternity, leaving room for my growing fingers :))

I Love My Sailor - I''m so pleased that you responded as you did to jstarfireb''s comments because I''m pretty sure that she''s right and that the blue diamonds in your ring are irradiated. Natural blue diamonds (even for that size) would cost the earth and would, typically, be much lighter in colour. It would also be incredibly difficult to find a ring with that many natural untreated blue diamonds - not impossible but very very difficult. I would certainly speak to the manager again and ask him to confirm that the blue diamonds are not irradiated! If nothing else it means he may have to do his homework and the next person may be told the truth!!!
You never know, he may be embarrassed enough to give you some money off!

Irradiated diamonds are a great way of being able to afford coloured diamonds and your ring, considering the price, is a complete steal! It looks gorgeous and you should be very proud to wear it.

Beautiful! I love that design, there''s a Michael B band that''s sort of similar that''s one of my favorites. The blue/white contrast adds something really special to your ring!
