Art Deco Diamond Ring

This beautiful ring has 750 stamped on it but all other marks are unfortunately worn down.

I'm guessing the beautiful solitaire is a diamond. Any help?

750 is usually the stamp for 18kt white gold. If it is indeed white gold, then the stone is most likely a diamond. I would take it to a local jeweler to have the metal tested and the diamond tested as well. Most will do it for free and have a little electronic device to touch to the diamond to test whether it is fake or not.
