Are Vendors justified hating PSers?

I will preface by saying I've met a lot of PSers and am good friends with a lot of the older members from my early days. Most are wonderful, knowledgeable, and funny as hell. I have no problem taking more photos or videos in different lighting, and I have met people in person so they can view the pieces. That said, some PSers are pretty demanding and entitled, to the point of shocking. (almost all were people I don't know at all, but have made clear they are Pricescopers)

Here are some good ones I remember off the top of my head from LT emails. They are all from different people who made clear they were PSers:

"But I'm a PSer, don't I get a discount? What good is being a pricescope member if I can't get things cheaper?"

"Find me something just like the one you sold because you already sold it before I decided to email you! I don't care if you bought it years ago and it's an antique piece!"

"because you sold it already, I want you to custom make one exactly like it and sell it to me at a discount" "but I'd lose money?" "that's part of the business isn't it? why would you post it for sale if you can't make more?"

"I know I emailed you two weeks ago and never responded but I just decided to buy it. Why isn't it still available? Why didn't you hold it for me?" (because you never responded to my email)

"Why can't you take 60% off, you have other pieces and it's not like i'm asking you to give it to me for free. I'll leave you good feedback on Pricescope and you get free advertisement" (umm)

I've even received two emails saying I should sell them XYZ because they lost their baby recently and deserves to buy something that wasn't for sale. How do you even answer that? As someone who had a miscarriage, I was horrified that someone would use that to gain sympathy. If a non-vendor like myself has received such messages/emails, I can't even imagine what some sellers have encountered.

Yep. Shocking is right. I cannot believe some of the "offers" I've had from PS'ers on my LT listings.

I've had maybe one offer that was rude and ridiculous, but by and far PSers I've sold to (not a trade member, just sell things I stop wearing to clear room/fingers) are really sweet and pleasant. If the offers are sometimes lower than I"ll accept, they're pretty gracious about the no. They ask nicely, and sometimes I have to say no nicely. I'm glad I never encountered folk who demand a certain discount or price! yeesh.

I wouldn't even make an offer if I'm not within 10-15% of the seller's asking price.

I"m currently bugging James Allen folk about a diamond. Numerous chats, multiple emails, lol. Although I think a lot of it would have been avoided if they would have sent me a gia report that didn't censor the comments section of the report. So it's only like 80% my fault for being so annoying as a consumer lol

Funny story. So apparently they can’t see any of the info either. I need to order it and then they’ll receive the physical stone and physical report to their possession and send me a copy prior to shipping to see if i still want it.

I also find it funny since protecting the gia number (I assume) is so that people can’t use JA videos and resources to scope the diamond then buy it from a cheap drop shipper with minimal website or overhead for cheaper than JA by just comparing the gia numbers. But in this case of a large and very well cut fancy gray, if I found it anywhere else I wouldn’t need the gia number to know it was the same one!
